Windows installer was the solution

Installing netfree's certificate didn't solve yarn's error.
What it does do is it allows you to run npm.
Has someone been successful in installing yarn?

This is the command I am using:
npm install -g yarn

npm ERR! code UNABLE_TO_GET_ISSUER_CERT_LOCALLY
npm ERR! errno UNABLE_TO_GET_ISSUER_CERT_LOCALLY
npm ERR! request to https://registry.npmjs.org/yarn failed, reason: unable to get local issuer certificate

Has someone been successful in installing yarn?
